It is with great pleasure that the International Federation for Emergency Medicine and our host The Emirates Society of Emergency Medicine present the first ever virtual International Conference of Emergency Medicine (ICEM21) to be held from 8 – 12 June 2021.
The theme of “Bringing Emergency Medicine Together” really says it all – and a virtual meeting should provide the new horizons needed to connect those involved in emergency care from every corner of the globe. It’s an exciting prospect and we will build on successes of the past, with the last ICEM in 2019 attracting over 2500 delegates from around 72 countries.
An extensive scientific program has been developed covering a wide range of topics which are both current and important to not only our specialty but emergency care generally. This forum provides a unique opportunity to gain an international perspective on these key issues and learn and share with the best! The timing of the schedule has been arranged to accommodate as much of the globe as possible, so live interaction or on-demand affords greater flexibility.
On behalf of the Board and Assembly of the International Federation for Emergency Medicine (IFEM), and the Emirates Society of Emergency Medicine, I trust that you will find the 20th ICEM professionally and socially satisfying in every way.
